Medical Image Processing provides quantitative analysis and visualization of medical images such as MRI, CT,CTA, which is essential to both computer-assist surgery and medical research.
Our group aims to develop computational algorithms to process and analyze medical data. It was founded in Sept.5th,2010, by Prof. ZhangYi. Ongoing research project is Computer-Assisted Precise Hepatectomy Research Based on Recurrent Neural Networks.
Computer-Assisted Precise Hepatectomy Research Based on Recurrent Neural Networks.
This project is supported by a grant from NSFC/RGC Joint Research Scheme. Based on the clinical requirement of precise preoperative image evaluation before hepatectomy, we would conduct in-depth research on computer-assisted precise hepatectomy. The proposed research will provide substantial technical support for precise hepatectomy planning to reduce the surgical risks and ensure the best prognosis of patients.
